Telangana Public Holidays List 2017 / TS Public Holiday 2017 : The Government of Telangana hereby notifies that during the year 2017, the days specified in Annex I (Part I) will be observed as holidays by all government offices, while days for other holidays / II), as well as optional holidays for government offices, as shown in Annex II (Part I), while the days for other holidays / festivities falling on Sundays are given in Annex II (Part II). The state government orders all offices under the state government to remain closed on Sundays and second Saturdays throughout the months of 2017.

The Telangana government has released the TS public holiday list for the year 2017. The General Administration Department, Telangana Govt has released general holidays, optional vacancies list on 21 November 2016. The Department has provided Separate table for general holidays, holidays on Saturdays and Sundays. This holiday list of the Telangana 2017 government is different from the list of previous vacations of the year 2016. The government has totally changed the previous holidays and has published the list of new holidays of the state of Telangana for the year 2017. The government published the list of vacancies that are under Negotiable Acts, 1881. All these holidays are applicable for government and private employees.
