Raees is a thriller genre action movie. The film features Shah Rukh Khan, Mahira Khan and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in lead roles. The story revolves around the smuggler Raees Khan (Shah Rukh Khan) whose activity is highly contested and ultimately thwarted by a policeman (Nawazuddin Siddiqui). Raees collected 20.42 crore on its opening day. Second day was a huge collection as it was a national holiday that came to be 26.30 crores. The third day collection fell a little collection of 13.11 crore. On the fourth day of collection again due to weekend collects 15.61 crore. Fifth day witnessed another climb that made 17.80 crore. Sixth day was a huge drop due to Monday collecting 8.25 crore and the seventh day 7.52 crore. This made a total of 109.01 crore first week of collection. The eighth day was collected around 7.10 crore. On the ninth day, collection fell and collected 6.25 crores. On the tenth day, collection increased to 6.60 crores.
